Mute

Toggling mute feature on an active PBX/PSTN call

Upon connection of a PBX/PSTN call, a mute icon would be available to the users on the Click to
Call interface. Users can place the call on mute by clicking on the icon. The icon would turn red
indicating that the call is on mute.

Note: Calls will still be recorded while the user is muted as the far end is still transmitting to the user.
 
Mute during Transfer and Conference
 
A call is unmuted when the transfer or conference icons are clicked thereby allowing the user to speak with the transfer or conference target. However, users can still place the call on mute if needed. Note that regular hold does not unmute the call and that mute status is maintained upon resuming the call after a regular hold.
