Making A Call

Users have multiple options to initiate a call from the Click to Call window.
 
To conduct a call:
 
  • Method 1: Using Your Contacts - Select any of your contacts from the directory on the main screen of Click to Call and a call will begin.
  • Method 2: Dial Pad - Click the Dial Pad icon to the right of the Smart Search box at the bottom of the screen and use your mouse or keyboard to enter a number. Click Call or press Enter to begin a call
  • Method 3: Search Directory - Type any phone number or name in the Smart Search box at the bottom of the screen and select an existing Microsoft Outlook contact to begin a call.


When a call is in progress, the top section of the Click to Call window will display the name and number of your contact. 
 
When dialing, if a message appears that there are no available extensions, navigate to Line Registrations in the Settings menu and ensure the status box is checked. If unchecked, contact your administrator.
